Our Trip to Germany “2015”

My dad and I toured East and West Berlin. Highlights were the Mercedes headquarters, Berlin Wall (where Terry matched his hand to the graffiti on the original wall!), the Berlin zoo, and Car City (where VW has great its factory and great auto exhibits). Notice, in particular, the glass building where travelers in Europe can pick up their new cars and tour Europe before shipping them home. Cars of all makes, not just VW’s, are there for pick-up! See the photo of Terry on a high speed train. Notice the soda bottle and water glass next to him hardly moved, yet the train was going 245 miles an hour!

Terry…..once again YOU are a beacon of light for so many, whether they are myotonic dystrophy travellers or not. Continue the great work that you and your Dad do for so many. Your family proves the statement that when diagnosed with a chronic, progressive disease…..often friends and families become strangers and strangers become new friends and families. Thank you for letting us into your family………Alice

What OP did mean is that the usual travel is completely disrupted. This is correct. The reason, however is a bad organization and it shows that our railways did not receive the necessary funding they need.
